One of the many recent innovations in new home deign has been the advent of the timber frame. There are several iterations where you can have blockwork on the outside or a timber frame with plaster or indeed cladding as an external finish.

Timber frames are quicker to install and a more precise system given that they are largely produced in factory conditions but there are many more items to consider when weighing-up this key choice.
