BUILDING A MODERN, OPEN PLAN HOME

When a retiring couple got tired of the many shortcomings of their old house, but loved their neighbourhood, they decided to start again. Their old house was difficult to manage, had no storage and suffered from no access to daylight from the South in the living space. We carefully demolished their old house which is in a built up and established park in the suburbs and replaced it with a modern open plan home that finally took advantage of the sun at the front of their home.

Their kitchen now opens into a private garden at the front and their living area opens into the rear garden for evening light. They can now enjoy contemporary open plan living in a spacious, airy, low maintenance A1 rated new home with the benefit of all their neighbours close by.
