DESIGNING A MODERN, ENERGY EFFICIENT HOME

It isn’t often you land on an amazing rural site just a short hop from the city. This is exactly what happened in this project. Well, in fact our clients had an old 1990’s dormer bungalow which did not realise any of the potential of its wonderful location. Our advice was to start afresh. We removed the old tired house and build a modern A-Rated home with classical rural features.

The result is a 3 storey A1 rated home. On the top floor is a multipurpose room and potential spare bedroom and generous landing. First floor comprises of much of the private accommodation and the ground floor boasts a study, drawing room, separate plant room, separate utility room, cloaks, larder and of course an amazing kitchen, dining, living room for the ultimate modern living experience.
