Project Description
The essence of this project in Limerick was to balance a myriad of conflicting priorities. We have our best views to the North, our best light from the South and West. We needed to maintain some level of privacy from the main road, we needed to capture a distant church spire view as well as even more distant views of Co. Kerry on the horizon, whilst also adjusting the location of the house on the site to cost effectively balance height versus the cut and fill of the land topography. Oh, and we need shelter from the wind.
Hopefully the result speaks for itself. A wonderful modern bright and airy design with different architectural forms allowing a break from the living and sleeping quarters for a growing young family where young children and working from home need to co-exist.
