Blackrock Cottage

Project Description

A contemporary cottage designed to meet the need a young family within walking distance of Blackrock Pier and Farmer’s Market. 

This existing house was mid-terraced so all the material had to be lifted by hand through the front door of the house! This lended itself to a timber-frame lightweight construction which worked well with the contemporary design brief.

Cedar cladding and cherry floors complete the look and the house has been featured on both Life magazines and the Examiner’s Property Supplement.
